A message dated July 2, 1997, was received stating the Governor has            
signed the following bill and is transmitting the engrossed and enrolled       
copies to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing:               
                                                                               
HOUSE BILL NO. 163                                                            
"An Act relating to designating gamma-Hydroxybutyrate as a                    
schedule IVA controlled substance; and providing for an effective
